Refund policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to consulting services, strategy sessions, project work, retainers, audits, and other professional services provided by Ziyadness LLC through ziyadness.net or under a separate proposal, invoice, statement of work, or service agreement.
Because Ziyadness provides professional consulting services rather than standard physical products, refund eligibility depends on whether work has started, the amount of work already completed, resources reserved for the project, and any third-party costs already incurred.
1. Project-Specific Agreements
Each paid engagement may be governed by a written proposal, invoice, statement of work, service agreement, or email confirmation.
That document may specify:
- The project scope and deliverables.
- Fees and payment schedule.
- Deposits or retainers.
- Cancellation terms.
- Revision limits.
- Project timeline.
- Refund eligibility.
- Third-party costs.
If a project-specific written agreement conflicts with this Refund Policy, the project-specific agreement will control for that engagement.
2. Cancellation Before Work Begins
A client may request cancellation before Ziyadness begins work.
Where no work has started and no non-refundable third-party costs have been incurred, Ziyadness may approve a full refund of the amount paid.
A project may be considered started when Ziyadness has begun any of the following:
- Onboarding.
- Research.
- Strategy development.
- Auditing.
- Account review.
- Campaign planning.
- Creative planning.
- Technical configuration.
- Scheduling team resources.
- Preparing project documents.
- Communicating with third-party providers.
- Reserving working time for the engagement.
3. Deposits and Retainers
Deposits and retainers may become non-refundable once work begins or resources have been reserved for the project.
A deposit may compensate Ziyadness for:
- Initial consultation and onboarding.
- Research and planning.
- Project setup.
- Reserved availability.
- Administrative work.
- Opportunity costs associated with declining other work.
- Initial strategy or preparation.
Any deposit or retainer terms stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or service agreement will apply.
4. Cancellation After Work Has Started
Once work has started, payments for completed work are non-refundable.
If a client cancels a prepaid engagement before all services have been completed, Ziyadness may review whether any unused portion is eligible for a partial refund.
Any approved partial refund may be reduced by:
- The value of work already completed.
- Time already spent on the engagement.
- Reserved consulting or production time.
- Approved expenses.
- Non-refundable third-party costs.
- Administrative or payment-processing costs where legally permitted.
- Deliverables, research, documents, or recommendations already provided.
Ziyadness is not required to refund fees for work that has already been performed.
5. Completed or Delivered Services
Payments are non-refundable once the agreed service, consultation, audit, strategy, report, campaign plan, creative work, configuration, or other deliverable has been substantially completed or delivered.
A client’s decision not to use a completed deliverable does not by itself create a right to a refund.
Dissatisfaction caused solely by a change in preference, business direction, internal priorities, or management decision does not automatically qualify for a refund.
6. Strategy Sessions and Consultations
A client may request cancellation or rescheduling of a booked consultation by contacting Ziyadness at least 48 hours before the scheduled meeting.
Requests received at least 48 hours before the meeting may be eligible for:
- Rescheduling at no additional charge; or
- A refund, where no preparation work has started.
Consultations cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may be non-refundable.
Missed meetings and no-shows are non-refundable unless Ziyadness agrees otherwise in writing.
If Ziyadness cancels a consultation and cannot offer a suitable alternative time, the consultation fee will be refunded.
7. Client Delays or Failure to Cooperate
Refunds are not normally provided when a project is delayed, paused, or cannot be completed because the client:
- Does not provide required information.
- Does not provide account access.
- Does not provide content or brand assets.
- Does not provide timely feedback.
- Does not attend scheduled meetings.
- Does not approve required work.
- Changes the project scope.
- Stops responding.
- Violates the service agreement.
- Provides inaccurate, unlawful, or unusable materials.
Ziyadness may pause the engagement until the required information, access, approval, or payment is provided.
8. Advertising Spend and Third-Party Costs
Payments made to third parties are not refundable by Ziyadness.
This may include:
- Advertising spend.
- Platform charges.
- Software subscriptions.
- Domain or hosting fees.
- Shopify applications.
- Production expenses.
- Stock media.
- Freelancer or contractor costs.
- Payment-processing fees.
- Other external services approved for the project.
Refund requests concerning a third-party charge must be submitted to the relevant provider and remain subject to that provider’s terms.
9. Marketing Results
A refund will not be issued solely because a campaign, strategy, website, advertisement, or marketing activity does not achieve a particular result.
Marketing performance may be affected by factors outside Ziyadness’s control, including market conditions, competition, pricing, budgets, customer demand, sales processes, platform policies, algorithms, tracking limitations, and client execution.
Unless expressly guaranteed in a signed written agreement, Ziyadness does not guarantee a specific number of leads, sales, conversions, followers, rankings, revenue, return on advertising spend, or other business result.
10. Errors or Services Not Provided
Contact Ziyadness promptly if you believe:
- You were charged incorrectly.
- You were charged more than once.
- An agreed service was not provided.
- A delivered file is inaccessible or technically defective.
- The delivered work materially differs from the confirmed written scope.
Ziyadness will review the request and may, as appropriate:
- Correct the issue.
- Replace or resend a deliverable.
- Complete the missing agreed service.
- Apply a service credit.
- Issue a partial refund.
- Issue a full refund.
The appropriate resolution will depend on the circumstances, the applicable agreement, and applicable law.
11. Refunds When Ziyadness Cancels
If Ziyadness cancels an engagement and does not complete prepaid services, the client will receive a refund for the portion of prepaid work that was not performed.
This does not include amounts already earned for completed work or non-refundable third-party expenses already incurred with the client’s authorization.
12. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund, email:
Include:
- Your full name.
- Company name.
- Invoice or transaction reference.
- Service purchased.
- Payment date.
- Reason for the request.
- The resolution requested.
- Supporting documents where relevant.
Refund requests should be submitted within 14 calendar days after the issue giving rise to the request, unless a different deadline appears in the applicable service agreement or mandatory law provides a longer period.
13. Refund Review and Processing
Ziyadness will review refund requests individually.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
If a refund is approved:
- It will normally be returned to the original payment method.
- Processing will normally begin within 5 to 10 business days after approval.
- Banks and payment providers may require additional time to post the refund.
- Currency-conversion differences and third-party banking fees may not be recoverable.
14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Clients are encouraged to contact Ziyadness before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that the matter can be reviewed and addressed directly.
Fraudulent, abusive, or unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Suspension of services.
- Termination of the engagement.
- Withdrawal of access to unpaid deliverables.
- Recovery of unpaid amounts and reasonable dispute-related costs where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section limits a client’s lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect transaction.
15. Mandatory Legal Rights
This Refund Policy does not exclude or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
